I had a weekend without a convention. Yes, I should be taking stock after the last ones, setting up for the next ones, submitting information to upcoming ones, or even signing up for more of them... but I needed a break.

Also, I wanted to ink wet hair.

This piece taught me how much I don't know about coloring water, how much I don't know about water moving in a spray, and just how far I have to go before I'm competent with any freehand tools in photoshop.

On the plus, there was hair and it was inked. Wet. SO I WIN.

I used a chunk of a stock image [link] as a transparency to make the water not look flat, like a cheater. That makes me a cheating cheater who cheats. BUT WHO WON ANYWAYS B/C HAIR.
